You know, every time I comment on how long I left a layout on the main page, the next one lasts even longer. Maybe I didn't surpass the Ayumi layout with this one, but I was cutting it close. I had no intentions of leaving Himeno up there nearly as long as I did, but a series of misfortunes ranging from a laptop on the fritz, to becoming miserably sick, to a death in my family resulted in me taking an unplanned hiatus from the whole of the site.

This layout was the first to feature an a vector trace of my own, I think, featuring Himeno Awayuki as the Fire Pretear. Also, this layout featured a number of brushes courties of Echoica in the background. And -- again -- there's that semi-minimalist look to the design.

I actually really liked this design, which doesn't make it so horrible that I left it up for so long -- though I noticed, a few weeks after I put this layout up, that I'd botched Himeno's cape a bit. There's some orange detailing that failed to make it into the finished trace for some reason.
