DESIGN; about this layout...
Following Himeno Awayuki's (unintentional) multiple-year stay on the front page, here we have...
flowers. Hibiscus, to be exact. I actually really like hibiscus, and hibiscus print, so it was a
delight to find an awesome dingbat font that serves up just that -- hibiscus flowers.
Also, after three layouts in which it has been noted, I have accepted the reality that the "clean,
minimalist" layout format is apparently just my design aesthetic.
On to the credits; the hibiscus flowers came from the aforementioned Hisbiscus dingbat font, which can be
found here.
This layout is shockingly sparse when it comes to brushes, which is sort of a new thing for me. I really
like the font I used (Birth of a Hero.) The few little brushes that were involved (that barely visible halftone pattern and the vintage swirlies)
both came from the wonderful brush site at celestial-star.net.
